Hi, I'm Lexi! I am the owner and photographer at R.U.N. LLC based in Barkhamsted, Connecticut.
I have spent the past 10 years working with dogs and their owners, as both a veterinary technician and professional dog trainer.
I thrive when my work gives me an outlet to be active and creative, and I love getting to know the unique personalities of the dogs (and other animals!) that I meet. I aim to bring my two passions together and create lifetime memories for people of their beloved pets.
In my free time, you’ll find me hiking with friends chasing sunsets, or reading a cozy book snuggled up with my cats. I love to foster dogs and cats for local rescues as often as I can to help them on their journey to their forever homes.
My love for both animals and photography started when I was a kid. Growing up, I would borrow my dad's Nikon camera and take photos of every animal I saw. My dream job was to be a wildlife photographer. When I got my first dog, Raikou, shortly after I turned 20, it sparked my love of photography all over again. I took photography and animal behavior courses in high school and college at Central Connecticut State University where I got my Bachelor of Arts.
I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator
and American Red Cross Pet CPR Certified.
