Hi, I'm Lexi! I am the owner and photographer at R.U.N. LLC based out of Barkhamsted, Connecticut.
My love for both animals and photography started when I was a kid. Growing up, I would borrow my dad's Nikon camera and take photos of every animal I saw. My dream job was to be a wildlife photographer. When I got my first dog shortly after I turned 20, it sparked my love of photography all over again. I took photography courses in high school and college at Central Connecticut State University where I got my Bachelor of Arts.
I have spent the past 10 years working with dogs and their owners, as both a veterinary technician and professional dog trainer. I thrive when my work gives me an outlet to be creative, and I love capturing the unique personalities of the dogs (and other animals!) that I meet. I aim to bring my two passions together and create lifetime memories for people of their beloved pets.
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me hiking with friends chasing sunsets and waterfalls, or snuggled up with my cats at home. I love to foster dogs and cats for local rescues as often as I can to help them on their journey to their forever homes. My two dogs, Raikou and Judge, are my adventure buddies. I live for those wild moments that end in dirty paws, happy hearts, and unforgettable memories. Whether it’s a quiet trail or a wide-open beach, I'd love to capture your dog in their natural element as we explore the world beyond the backyard.
